Find manufacturers that list braille signs or ADA signs.
The buyer remains responsible for confirming the rules that apply to the building, language, mounting position and jurisdiction. Ask the manufacturer to state which standard its proof follows.
List every room, permanent space, exit and directional message. Include text, braille language, pictograms, colours, substrates and fixing surfaces.
Give the manufacturer the applicable accessibility standard instead of asking for a generic compliant sign. Requirements vary by country and project type.
Check character profile, braille dot shape and spacing, contrast, edge finish and mounting method. A printed proof can confirm layout but cannot prove tactile height or dot geometry.
