Cost drivers

Scope and site conditions

A quote for a delivered sign face is not comparable to a quote that includes survey, permit drawings, electrical work, installation and access equipment.

Materials and durability

Substrate, finish, illumination, expected weather exposure, service access and warranty assumptions affect both first cost and lifetime cost.

Regional installation cost

Local labour, permit rules, union requirements, crane access, traffic control and inspection timings can move installed totals materially.

Common exclusions

  • Permits, drawings, landlord approvals, engineering and site surveys unless listed.
  • Electrical supply, trenching, isolation, final connection and inspections unless listed.
  • Freight, customs, taxes, access equipment, traffic control and installation unless listed.
  • Removal, wall repair, after-hours work and replacement parts unless listed.
