Indicative factory-direct supplied-package ranges from the cited 2026 source. Installation, permits, surveys, engineering, electrical feeds, freight, taxes and access equipment still need explicit confirmation.
| Sign type | Range | Scope | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Non-illuminated letters | $500–$1,800 total | Factory-supplied non-illuminated channel letters or dimensional letter package. | The source frames this as a typical supplied sign range; installation, freight and permits still need separate confirmation. |
| Front-lit channel letters | $800–$2,500 total | Factory-built illuminated letters with faces, returns, LEDs and backs. | Power supplies, raceways, patterns and wiring diagrams should be priced explicitly. |
| Halo-lit or reverse-lit letters | $1,000–$3,000 total | Factory-only illuminated letters designed to throw light back onto the wall. | Wall colour, standoff depth and driver location materially affect the result. |
| Front/back-lit or RGB channel letters | $1,200–$4,000 total | Higher-complexity illuminated channel-letter package with front/back lighting or RGB controls. | Engineering, unusual access, UL listing, freight crating and replacement parts should be checked. |

Construction and illumination
Return depth, face material, trim style, lighting type, driver placement and mounting method change both fabrication effort and electrical handoff.
Installed versus factory-only scope
A factory price is not the same as an installed price. Ask whether patterns, raceways, permits, site surveys, electrical work, freight and installation are included.
Common exclusions
- Permits, planning approvals and landlord approvals.
- Electrical feeds, isolation, site wiring and final connection.
- Site surveys, structural engineering and access equipment.
- Freight, customs, taxes, installation and repair after freight damage unless the quote names them.
